A great ride for avid cyclists, with much variation and only surfaced roads. On the way to Nydala and the old monastery church, you pass sights such as Hörle Manor, the Fryeleforsen rapids, Fryele Village and the weather station in Hagshult.
After Hagshult is a long downhill slope. Stop for a coffee at the monastery café before tackling the hill up to Svensbygd. Once you are there, you’ll see for miles. Make sure to stop and drink in the sight! You can take another break in Ohs at the railway café. Then it’s time to choose your route back to Värnamo. A tougher, but perhaps more fun stretch is over Lidnäs – but it involves cycling on the heavily trafficked road 127 back to Värnamo.
You can also ride solely around Lake Rusken (60 km) and take a ride through Sötåsa Village in the south, with its many wide stone fences.
