The historic museum consist of a beautiful park with several cottages, a stage and a cafeteria.
It was built in 1972 and lies south-west of the Torskinge church, right next to a small road, and in a beautiful meadow with several hills. Here you can also find a reconstruction of a Grave from the Bronze Ages. The previous grave was excavated during an archaeological examination in Slättö back in 1973-1974.
Store Mosse is a national park that comprises the largest untouched marshland south of Lappland. The park is 15 x 12 km in extent, and the vegetation here is similar to that of the wilderness of Norrland. The park offers more than 40 km of trails and boardwalks.
