Sandvik's Fishing Camp is perfect for fishing in the lake Rusken, but there is also accommodation and various activities. Along the lake are beautiful tracks and places to observe birds. In the forest around Rusken are good areas for berry and mushroom picking. Swings, playhouse, trampoline and a small soccer field for the children.

Rusken is a nutritious and varied lake with an area of ​​33 square kilometers. The maximum depth is 18 meters. Rusken is rated as one of Sweden's best lakes for zander, with catches weighing up to eleven kilograms. There are also pike, perch, bream, burbot and eel. 5 km from Rusken is Kalvsjön, a put-and-take lake with trout and rainbow trout.

Perch can be fished in both summer and winter with a fishing rod, reel or jig. Walleye can be angled or caught by spin fishing or trolling both in the spring, summer and autumn. Pike can be angeld in the winter and caught by spin fishing in the spring and autumn, or in the lake's deeper parts even in the summer. Bream and eel bite if you use a fishing pole while burbot can be caught when ice fishing in the winter.

There is a fishing license that applies to the entire lake Rusken; this is required for fishing in the lake. A separate fishing license is required for lake Kalvsjön. Instructions on the fishing regulations provided upon arrival.

Four boats are available for hire and can be equipped with outboard motor, electric motor and sonar. Life jackets are included in the rental of cottages and boats.
