The historic museum has several old buildings in a beautiful scenic environment.
Fryele local history society was founded in 1945. The historic museum is located on a hilled grazing land with trees and is surrounded by an open farm land, which is 1 km south east of the church. The historic museum consists of five buildings. At the museum there are exhibitions of historical and old items.
Store Mosse is a national park that comprises the largest untouched marshland south of Lappland. The park is 15 x 12 km in extent, and the vegetation here is similar to that of the wilderness of Norrland. The park offers more than 40 km of trails and boardwalks.
