Bed and Breakfast | Here you live close to nature and yet not more than twenty minutes from civilization. You are surrounded by spruce, pine, and hardwood forest where you can see elk, deer, foxes, badgers, hares, grouse, and occasionally lynx and wild boar (though the two latter ones most likely see you before you see them). There is also a camperarea for RVs.
Two kilometers away is lake Rusken, famous for its fine zander and pike. The cottages are situated at Timjan where there is also a restaurant, cafe, shop, conference facilities, garden, and playground.
The forest is criss-crossed by small forest roads and trails where you can walk all you want as long as you take into account the right of public access (Allemansrätten). There are also a number of lookout towers where you can look for animals without them sensing your scent. Should you tire of the solitude you can visit attractions such as Nydala monastery church, Store Mosse National Park, High Chaparral, The Kingdom of Crystal, Astrid Lindgren's World, etc., all within day-trip distance.
